At a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk this afternoon, General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm affirmed that Vietnam has always attached great importance to and wishes to strengthen its relations with Poland, a leading and highly important partner in the Central and Eastern European region, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tô Lâm cũng đề nghị Ba Lan tiếp tục tăng cường cấp học bổng cho sinh viên, nghiên cứu sinh Việt Nam, khuyến khích hai bên tiếp tục tạo điều kiện để cộng đồng người Việt Nam tại Ba Lan và cộng đồng người Ba Lan tại Việt Nam đi lại, cư trú, học tập, làm việc thuận lợi, ổn định cuộc sống, đóng góp vào đời sống kinh tế - xã hội sở tại.
General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm also proposed that Poland continue to increase the number of scholarships for Vietnamese university students and postgraduate researchers, and encourage both sides to continue facilitating travel, residence, study, and work for the Vietnamese community in Poland and the Polish community in Vietnam, enabling them to establish stable lives and contribute to the economic and social life of their host countries.
